Building Security Management System |
|
The building security management system is being designed by Ancent to operate in real time and to access and monitor inputs in continuum from different sensors placed in myriad strategic locations of a building.
In the event of the activation of an alarm (smoke, motion or door detectors) a graphical representation of the source of the source is displayed on the monitor, by dynamically generating the layout of the floor, the specific zone, and the precise location of the source of the alarm. These events get stored in the system database and the security personnel are instigated to take action based on the nature of the alarm. Various reports that indicate, the time of activation of the alarm, the time of acknowledgement, security personnel on duty, cause of alarm etc., are displayed for a specified time frame.
Trends indicate that as technology becomes more rampant and cost effective, as is inevitable and already discernable, there will be less reliance on security guards and more on electronic surveillance.
The system on offer by the company incorporates a graphical man machine interface that makes the system intuitively obvious to work on and significantly reduces the possibility of operator error.
The software & electronic systems being designed by the company enables the security requirements to be catered to in a semi-packaged manner. The process of mapping the dynamic floor plans from the isometric drawings of the buildings will thus be lessened as also the total time for the installation & implementation.
