In phase II of the project, the company proposes to extend this system to encompass all aspects of a building management system, in order to facilitate the being of an 'intelligent building'. An 'intelligent building being one that has the flexibility to adapt to changing technology, minimizing energy and operations cost while maximizing the effectiveness of operations personnel.
The system at the conclusion of this phase will also comprise:
-Access control through biometric sensors (fingerprint scanners) and smart cards
-Power management (PC based centralized monitoring and control of air-conditioning, lighting etc.)
-Building navigation system (touch screen kiosks that navigate and inform visitors the pertinent details of the building layout, office location etc.). of mapping the dynamic floor plans from the isometric drawings of the buildings will thus be lessened as also the total time for the installation & implementation.
